This free of charge, half-day program, focused on the Taylor Law and public sector, is intended to provide a solid foundation for advocates new to PERB or needing a refresher.
You will receive information on all aspects of filing, processing, and advocating for, or defending against, improper practice charges; learn about exceptions, responses or cross exceptions to the Board; hear how to obtain compliance with PERB’s remedial order where issued or request an injunction or oppose the request; and be provided with plain explanations of PERB’s mediation processes and important tips of the trade. Questions are encouraged, and a handbook covering these sessions will be provided for your future guidance.
